Septimius Severus (193-211). AE As, Rome mint, 204 AD. Obv. SEVERVS PIVS AVG P M TR P XI. Laureate and cuirassed bust, seen from rear. Rev. LIBERALITAS AVGG IIII. Liberalitas, draped, standing left, holding abacus in right hand and cornucopiae in left hand. RIC IV 767 var. (TR P XI); Cf. C. 294. AE. 10.09 g. 25.5 mm. RRR. Variety of an already very rare issue. Superb example with bold portrait. Minor smoothing. Good VF.
