Head of Africa right, laureate and wearing elephant's skin; on right, corn-ear and; below, plough; on right, [Q·METELL]; on left, SCIPIO·IMP. Rev. Hercules standing facing, with right hand on hip and resting left arm on club, draped with a lion's skin; on right, EPPIVS; on left, LEG·F·C. Cr. 461/1; B. (Caecilia) 50, (Eppia) 1; RRSC D252. AR. 3.92 g. 18.5 mm. R. Rare and good example, with enchanting cabinet tone. Slightly off-center, banker's mark (?) on obverse. Good VF.
