Honorius (393-423). AV Solidus, Ravenna mint, c. 415 AD. Obv. D N HONORIVS P F AVG. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, draped and cuirassed bust right; helmet decorated with stars. Rev. VICTORIA AVGGG. Honorius in tunic and officer's cloak standing facing, holding long cross topped with P (staurogram), the bottom driven into serpent-tailed lion prostrate left under emperor's right foot; hand of God reaches in from above left to crown Honorius with a halo; R - V in the fields; COB in exergue.
