Sicily. Syracuse. Second Democracy (466-405 BC). AE Hemilitron, c. 405-400 BC. Obverse die signed by the artist Eu (Eukleidas or Euainetos?). Obv. Head of Arethusa left, wearing necklace and earring, hair in sphendone, traces of letters EY on band; behind, corn-ear. Rev. ΣYPA. Wheel of four spokes, with dolphin in lower quarters.
