Sicily. Panormos, Punic Occupation. AR Tetradrachm, 400-390 BC. Obv. Charioteer driving galloping quadriga right, holding reins and kentron; meander pattern in exergue. Rev. Female head left wearing necklace; three dolphins before, two ears of barley behind. HGC 2 1008; SNG ANS -; Jenkins I 25 (O6/R22); Rizzo pl. lxv, 14 (same dies): Jameson 1902 (same dies). AR. 16.59 g. 27 mm. RRR. Extremely rare. Beautiful classical style. Flan repaired. VF.
