Nero (54-68). AE Sestertius, Rome mint. Obv. Laureate head left. Rev. DECVRSIO. Nero on horseback prancing right in cuirass, and billowing cloak, spear in right; foot-soldier in front advancing right, looking back, right hand holding up vexillum; and with a second foot-soldier, running behind the horse. Cf. RIC I (2nd ed.) 108. AE. 27.29 g. 36.00 mm. RR. Very rare type. Fascinating issue, struck on medallic flan. Scratches on obverse. F.
