Tiberius II Constantine (578-582). AR half Siliqua. Carthage mint. Obv. DN TIb CONSTANT PP. Bust facing wearing crown with pendilia, cuirass and holding shield. Rev. Cross potent dividing LV-XM/VNDI; above, two pellets; all within palm wreath. D.O. 59; MIB 20; Sear 464. AR. 1.12 g. 16.00 mm. RRRR. Of the greatest rarity, in high state of preservation. Brilliant and lightly toned. Minor peripheral area of oxidation on obverse. EF.
