Ostrogothic Italy, Theoderic (493-526). AV Tremissis in the name of Justin I, Rome mint, c. 518-526 AD. Obv. DN IVSTINVS P F AVC (F AV ligate). Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. VICTORIA AVGVSTORVM. Victory advancing right, head left, holding wreath and cross; pellet at right end of ground line; star in right field; COMOB in exergue. COI 30b; MIB 25 (Theoderic-Athalaric). AV. 1.47 g. 16.00 mm. Brilliant and choice, with bright grounds. Graffito on obverse. Flan slightly wavy, otherwise. EF.
