Gordian III (238-244). AE Pentassarion Odessus mint, Moesia Inferior. Obv. ΑΥΤ Κ Μ ΑΝΤ ΓΟΡΔΙΑΝΟϹ ΑΥΓ. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian and draped bust of Serapis, wearing calathus, facing one another. Rev. OΔHCCЄITΩN. Nike advancing right, holding wreath and palm over shoulder; in right field, E. Varbanov I 1553. AE. 13.52 g. 28.50 mm. R. Rare and superb example with deep green patina. Gently cleaned. Good EF.
