Magnentius (350-353). AV Solidus. Aquileia mint, c. 351-352 AD. Obv. DN MAGNENTIVS PF AVG. Bareheaded, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. VICTORIA AVG LIB ROMANOR. Victory, winged, draped, standing right, and Libertas, draped, standing left, supporting between them a trophy; in exergue, SMAQ. RIC VIII 134. AV. 4.55 g. 23.00 mm. RR. Very rare. Enchanting coin, perfectly detailed, in fine style; brilliant and lightly toned, with warm hues. Irregularity of flan on the edge at 5 o clock of obverse. Traces of die shift beside the edge on reverse, otherwise. EF/Good EF.
