C. Egnatius Cn. f. Cn. n. Maxsumus. AR Denarius serratus, c. 75 BC. Obv. Diademed and draped bust of Venus right, with Cupid perched on shoulder; behind, MAXSVMVS. Rev. Libertas in slow biga left, crowned by Victory flying right; in right field, pileus. In exergue, C·EGNATIVS·CN·F/CN·N. Cr. 391/1a; B. 1. AR. 3.86 g. 19.50 mm. RR. Very rare and choice for issue. Gash on reverse (an 'adjustment al marco') , otherwise. good VF. Cf C.
