Continental Greece. Corinthia, Corinth. AR Stetar, c. 550-500 BC. Obv. Pegasos flying left; koppa below. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square with swastika pattern, dots in each of the four angles. Pegasi 38/39; HGC 4 1815; Ravel Period I, Class III, cr. 92/94 Rosen 226. AR. 8.46 g. 21.00 mm. RR. Superb example of this very rare and archaic issue. Old deep cabinet tone, underlying luster. EF.
