Tripoli. Dinars minted at Tripoli in imitation of those of Caliph Al-Munstansir. Third phase: after 1187 until 1260. AV Dinar. D/ Pseudo Arabic inscription on four lines. R/ Pseudo Arabic inscription on four lines. Malloy 8; Schl. pl. V, 24; Metcalf 489. AV. 3.54 g. 23.00 mm. RRR. Very rare. Good VF. It has been suggested by Seltman that the letters B and t on this issue stand for Bohemond and Tripoli.
