L. Postumius Albinus. AR Denarius, 131 BC. Obv. Helmeted head of Roma right; behind, apex; before, barred X. Rev. Mars in quadriga right, holding spear, shield and trophy; below horses, L. POST. ALB. Cr. 252/1; B. 1. AR. 3.84 g. 20.50 mm. A superb example, well centred on a broad flan, and brilliant, with underlying luster.
Lovely iridescent tone. About EF.
