Aes Premonetale. AE stylized Knucklebone (Astragalus), decorated with two engraved dots flanking two notches, 6th-4th century BC. Cf. Haeberlin pl. 6,10. AE. 21.07 g. R. mm. 24x14x13. Rare and choice. Earthen green patina. Good VF. The weight of this example is significantly the same of the AE cast Uncia knucklebone/knucklebone (Cr. 21/6; ICC 46).
