Bacchius kneels right, with camel at his side, extending olive branch; in exergue, BACCHIVS; on right, IVDAEVS. Cr. 431/1; B. 13. AR. 3.93 g. 18.50 mm. Scarce. Sound metal and full weight. Choice and brilliant. Minor areas of weakness, otherwise. about EF. Bacchius, unknown to history under that name at least, might be Aristobulos II of Jerusalem (who submitted to Pompey) or Dionysios of Tripolis.
