Marcian (450-457). AE Nummus, Constantinople mint. Obv. DN MARCIANVS PF AVG. Diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. Marcian monogram; cross in circle above; all within wreath; below, CON. RIC X 546; Morello 5/14. AE. 1.31 g. 11.00 mm. A choice example in excellent condition for issue, perfectly centred on a broad flan of full weight and complete. Lovely dark green patina. About EF.
