Otho (69 AD). AR Denarius, Rome mint. Obv. IMP OTHO CAESAR AVG TR P. Bare head left. Rev. SECVRITAS PR. Securitas standing left, holding wreath and sceptre. RIC I (2nd ed.) 12. AR. 3.27 g. 18.50 mm. RRR. Very rare. A choice example, with a wonderful portrait, brilliant and nicely toned, with iridescent hues. Slightly ragged flan and minor metal flaw on reverse, otherwise. about EF.
