Nero Claudius Drusus, brother of Tiberius and father of Claudius (died 9 AD). AE Sestertius, struck under Claudius, 41-50 AD. Obv. NERO CLAVDIVS DRVSVS GERMANICVS IMP. Bare head of Nero Claudius Drusus left. Rev. TI CLAVDIVS [CAESAR AVG P]M TR P IMP SC . Claudius, bare-headed and togate, seated left on curule chair, holding branch; miscellaneous weapons and armour lying around. RIC I (2nd ed.) (Claud.) 93. AE. 26.10 g. 34.00 mm. A very attractive example with a superb portrait. Miinor area of striking weakness on reverse. Lovely reddish brown patina. with green hues. About EF/Good VF.
