Greek Asia. Pamphylia, Perge. AR Tetradrachm, c. 2nd century BC. Obv. Wreathed head of Artemis right, bow and quiver over shoulder. Rev. ΑΡΤΕΜΙΔΟΣ/ ΠΕΡΓΑΙΑΣ. Artemis standing left, holding wreath and scepter; to left, A above forepart of stag standing left, head right. Cf. SNG Cop. 299. AR. 15.54 g. 29.00 mm. RR. Very rare variety with A in inner left field. Darkly toned. Scratches on reverse. Good VF/VF.
