Danubian limes. Cast lead mystic plaque. Dacia and Moesia, 3rd-4th century AD. Obv. Figural design in several scenes within circular garlanded frame. In the upper row, Helen standing facing between busts of Helios and Selene; below busts to left, tripod; to right, [?]. In the middle row, standing figure between the Dioscuri on horseback (the Danubian Horsemen); to left, hen; to right, figure with zoomorphic mask. In the lower row, sacrifical scene; to left, vase; to right, lion. Rev. Blank. PB. 75.00 mm. An very attractive example. Nice green-grey patina, with tan hues. Good VF.
