France. Louis XII (1462-1498-1515) and Anne of Brittany (1477-1514). AE cast medal, 1500. Arm. II, 141; Hill-Pollard, Kress 527; Jones I, 15. AE. 114.00 mm. Opus: N. Leclerc and J. de Saint-Priest. 13 mm thick. EF. Queen Anne of France was offered a gold medal by the city of Lyon when she entered the city for the second time in march 1500. The medal was designed by Jean Perréal, modelled by Leclerc and Saint-Priest, and cast by Jean Lepère. Some bronze casts of this gold medal, produced for antiquarian purposes, have survived.
