Justin II (565-578). AV Solidus, Constantinople mint. Obv. DN IVSTINVS PP AVI. Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing, beardless, holding globe surmounted by Victory and shield. Rev. VICTORIA AVGGG Γ. Constantinopolis seated facing, head right, holding spear and globus cruciger; in exergue, CONOB. D.O. 4; Sear 345. AV. 4.45 g. 21.00 mm. Well centred on a very broad flan, brilliant and superb, with underlying luster. Very minor area of flatness on reverse, otherwise good EF.
