Sicily. Leontini. AE Tetras-Trionkion, circa 405-402 BC. Obv. Head of Apollo right, wearing laurel wreath; olive leaf and berry to left, ΛE[ON] to right. Rev. Tripod; kithara within legs, barley grains flanking, three pellets (mark of value) in exergue. CNS III 3; SNG Cop. 361; SNG ANS 270; HGC 2 708. AE. 2.01 g. 13.50 mm. Attractive example. Lovely glossy olive green patina. Minor spot of corrosion on obverse edge, otherwise about EF.
