Maximinus I (235-238). AE Sestertius, Rome mint, 236-238. Obv. MAXIMINVS PIVS AVG GERM. Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev. VICTORIA GERMANICA SC. Victory standing left, holding wreath and palm; at her feet, captive. RIC IV 90; C. 109. AE. 21.62 g. 32.5 mm. Superb example with great details. Brown patina with green hues and reddish spots. Slightly rough surfaces. EF.
