Helena, mother of Constantine I (Augusta 324-330). AE Follis, Heraclea mint, 325-326. Obv. HELENA AVGVSTA. Diademed and mantled bust right, wearing necklace. Rev. SECVRITAS REIPVBLICE. Helena, as Securitas, veiled and robed, standing left, holding lowered branch; in exergue, SMHB and pellet. RIC VIII Heraclea 85. AE. 3.28 g. 19.5 mm. Superb example with enchanting portrait. Deep green patina with traces of silvering. Faint marks on reverse. About FDC/EF.
