Herakles standing left, holding lion-skin, cornucopia and one-handled jug over lit altar; to left, EΦΣΩΔ/ [A]MOΣ. HN Italy 1406; SNG Cop. 1113; Van Keuren 109. AR. 7.66 g. 21.5 mm. RR. A very rare issue and among the finest known examples, as confirmed by historical archives. Deeply toned and well struck. EF.
