Gordian, in military dress, seated left on cuirass, holding spear and crowned by Victory, who stands behind him, holding palm; before, Virtus standing right, holding branch; standards in background. RIC IV 326. AE. 13.45 g. 17 mm. RRR. Extremely rare and seldom offered type, with an original reverse type. Good VF.
