DE above and GERM on architrave of triumphal arch surmounted by equestrian statue right, between two trophies, each with seated and bound captive at foot. RIC I (2nd ed.) Drusus conducted a series of campaigns in Germanic territory, aiming to consolidate Roman rule and establish a more solid presence in the region. His operations included building fortifications and organizing punitive campaigns against Germanic tribes that resisted Roman influence.
