Bust of Christ Pantokrator facing, wearing nimbus cruciger, pallium and colobium and holding book of Gospels. Rev. St. Demetrius, nimbate, standing right, holding sword and presenting labarum to Alexius standing facing, the emperor wears crown and loros, and graps shaft of labarum with right. D.O. 4; Sear 1904; Ratto -; BMC 14 (Alexius III). EL. 4.04 g. 30.00 mm. R. Rare. Lightly toned with dark spots. Edge chipped and shallow hairline flan crack on obverse, otherwise. VF/About EF.
