H first series. AR Quinarius, uncertain Picenian mint (Hatria?), 214 BC. Obv. Helmeted head of Roma right, with large visor; behind, V. Rev. The Dioscuri galloping right (extended horse tail, cape in the form of a leaf), small cape; below, H; between horizontal lines, ROMA. Cr. 85/1a; RRSC Bq 18. AR. 2.12 g. 16.30 mm. R. Rare and superb example, struck from fresh and detailed dies. Light scratches and cleaning marks on reverse, otherwise. EF/Good EF.
