Greek Italy. Southern Apulia, 'Campano-Tarentine'. AR Didrachm, c. 281-228 BC. Obv. Diademed head of nymph left, wearing triple-pendant earring. Rev. Nude youth on horseback right, crowning horse that raises left foreleg; TAP above, dolphin above tripod under horse. HN Italy 1098; Vlasto 1025-27 (unlisted dies combination). AR. 6.36 g. 20.00 mm. Pleasant portrait, in fine style; lightly toned, underlying luster. Good VF.
