Divus Antoninus Pius (died 161 AD). AE Sestertius, struck under Marcus Aurelius, circa 161 AD. Obv. DIVVS ANTONINVS. Bare head right. Rev. CONSECRATIO SC. Pyre of four tiers, decorated with hangings and garlands, surmounted by quadriga. RIC III (M. Aurel.) 1266. AE. 26.99 g. 32.90 mm. Superb example. Untouched leather patina with minor green deposits. Good VF/About EF.
