Greek Italy. Southern Apulia, 'Campano-Tarentine'. AR Didrachm, c. 281-228 BC. Obv. Diademed head of nymph left. Rev. Nude youth on horseback right, crowning horse; below, TA on dolphin. HN Italy 1098; Vlasto 1002. AR. 7.31 g. 20.00 mm. Superb coin, virtually as struck, with enchanting bright surfaces and delicate light tone. Area of flat strike on reverse. Good EF.
