Greek Italy. Northern Apulia, Salapia. AE 14 mm, c. 275-250 BC. Obv. Dolphin right. Rev. Dolphin right; below, ΣΑΛΑΠΙΝΩΝ. HN Italy 689. AE. 2.92 g. 14.00 mm. A masterpiece in miniature. Attractive olive green patina with earthen deposits. Good VF. HN Italy mistakenly repeats this type for no. 694, but it surely is correct for the earlier period.
