Greek Italy. Central and Southern Campania, Neapolis. AE 12 mm, c. 300-275 BC. Obv. Laureate head of Apollo right. Rev. Forepart of man-headed bull right; above, ΝΕΟΠΟΛΙΤΩΝ. Cf. HN Italy 585 (dolphin above bull); Cf. HGC 1 484 (same); Graziano 522. AE. 1.78 g. 13.00 mm. Exceptional bronze of Neapolis. Wonderful untouched olive green patina. Minor break on the edge, professionally restored. Good EF.
