Charioteer driving slow quadriga right, holding kentron in right hand, reins in left; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses with wreath. Rev. ΣVRAKOΣION. Diademed head of Arethusa right, wearing necklace; four dolphins around. HGC 2 1306; Boehringer 153 (O105/R68); SNG ANS -; cf. 41. AR. 17.48 g. 24.50 mm. Choice example of this archaic issue. Lovely old cabinet tone, underlying luster. Minor roughness on reverse surfaces. Good VF.
