Augustus (27 BC - 14 AD). AR Quinarius, uncertain mint in Asia Minor, 29-26 BC. Obv. [CA]ESAR IMP VII. Bare head right. Rev. [ASIA] RECEPTA. Victory standing left on cista mystica, between two snakes erect. RIC I (2nd ed.) 276. AR. 1.73 g. 13.50 mm. Slightly off centre, virtually as struck. Lovely iridescent cabinet tone, with blue highlights. Good EF/EF.
