Albinus Bruti f. AR Denarius, 48 BC. Obv. A·POSTVMIVS·[COS] Head of the consul A. Postumius right. Rev. Wreath of corn-ears, within which, ALBINVS/ BRVTI·F. Cr. 450/3a; B. (Postumia) 13. AR. 3.88 g. 17.00 mm. Scarce. Sound metal. A choice example, perfectly centred, with a superb portrait. Lovely light iridescent old cabinet tone, with underlying luster. Slightly broken edge on obverse at 4-5 o' clock, otherwise. EF.
