C. Servilius M.f. AR Denarius, 136 BC. Obv. Helmeted head of Roma right; behind, wreath; below, barred X and ROMA. Rev. The Dioscuri galloping in opposite directions; in exergue, C. SERVEILI. M.F. Cr. 239/1; B. 1. AR. 3.92 g. 22.50 mm. Sound metal, full weight and very broad flan. An outstanding example. from masterly engraved dies, brilliant with underkying luster and lightly toned. Edge broken at three o' clock and minor area of flatness on reverse, otherwise. good EF.
