Augustus (27 BC - 14 AD). AE 23 mm. Uncertain Sicilian mint (Akragas?), Proconsul L. Mussidius Longus. Obv. Bare head right. Rev. Wreath with inscription. RPC I 627. AE. 9.11 g. 23.00 mm. Olive green patina. Minor tooling. About VF.

 

The clearly readable letter on obverse of this specimen help us to attribute this coin to Akragas mint. Previously this bronze was assigned to Tyndaris mint with some doubts.
