Facing bust of Christ, raising hand in benediction and holding Gospels; nimbus with IC XC in upper quarters, six-rayed stars in lower. Rev. Crowned facing bust of Michael, wearing short beard and loros, holding labarum and globus cruciger; crown with pendilia. D.O. 14a.2; Sear 1878. AE. 7.56 g. 26.00 mm. Lovely emerald green patina. Overstruck on an earlier issue. Good VF.
