Pseudo Imperial coinage. AR Quarter of Siliqua, in the name of Justinian I (527-565). Ravenna mint (?). Obv. DN IVSTI[...]. Diademed bust right, wearing robe ornamented by two pellets. Rev. Large star of six rays within wreath. Cf. D.O. 340; Cf. MIBE 81; Cf. Sear 321; Cf. Ranieri 363/4 (R4). AR. 0.46 g. 10.00 mm. RRR. Very rare and in excellent condition for issue. Old cabinet tone. About EF/EF. The unusual crude style suggests this AR Fraction is a not official Pseudo-Imperial issue.
