Ionic column surmounted by statue, holding staff in right hand; on either side, togate figure and corn-ear set on forepart of lion; above, C·A VG. Cr. 242/1; B. (Minucia) 3. AR. 3.81 g. 20.00 mm. A superb example, from masterly engraved dies, well centred on a broad flan, brilliant and lightly toned. Insignificant scratch on reverse, otherwise. about EF.
