Head of Athena right, with frontal eye, wearing earring and crested Attic helmet decorated with three olive leaves over visor and a spiral palmette on the bowl. Rev. Owl standing right, head facing, spread tail feathers; olive sprig and crescent to left; AΘE to right; all within incuse square. HGC 4 1596; Starr Group V.B. AR. 17.06 g. 25.00 mm. Superb. Perfectly centered and well struck. Untouched dark and old cabinet tone. About FDC.
