Bearded Poseidon, diademed and wearing chlamys over shoulders, advancing right, wielding trident in upraised right hand and extending left hand before him. Rev. ΠΟΜ (in relief). Same type incuse left; trident in relief. HN Italy 1107; SNG ANS 612 (same obv. die). AR. 7.39 g. 30.00 mm. R. Exceptional archaic Stater. Sound metal. Attractively toned with golden hues. Lightly bent flant. Double strike on reverse. Minor edge chip. About EF.
