Commodus (177-192). AE Medallion. Rome mint, 186-187 AD. Obv. [M COMMODVS ANTONINVS PIVS FELIX AVG BRIT]. Laureate and cuirassed bust right. Rev. P M TR P XII IMP VIII COS V P P. Commodus seated right on rock, holding sceptre in his left hand; on right, Castor standing facing, head left, placing his right hand on the head of his horse and holding transverse sceptre in his left.
