L. Cassius Longinus. AR Denarius, 63 BC. Obv. Veiled and draped bust of Vesta left; before, A ; behind, kylix. Rev. Voter left, dropping tablet inscribed V into cista; to right, LONGIN·III·V. Cr. 413/1; B. 10 (Cassia). AR. 3.94 g. 20.50 mm. Sound metal, full weight and broad flan. A brilliant and superb example, with slight traces of double striking on reverse. About EF.
