Victory alighting facing, head left, holding wreath and globus cruciger; to right, six-pointed star; in exergue, CONOB. D.O. 212 var. (AVGVSTORVM); Ranieri 416 var. (same); Sear 410 var. (same); MIB 26 (this variety cited). AV. 1.47 g. 18.00 mm. RRR. Extremely rare variety of a very rare issue. An outstanding example, sharply struck on a huge unclipped flan and virtually uncirculated. Good EF. The misspelling of 'Augustorum', interesting die-engraver's error,.
