C. Norbanus. AR Denarius, 83 BC. Obv. Diademed head of Venus right; behind, CXXXXII; below, C. NORBANVS. Rev. Ear of corn, fasces with axe and caduceus. Cr. 357/1b; B. 2. AR. 3.98 g. 19.00 mm. A very attractive example, off full weight and perfectly centred on a broad flan. Minor nick on obverse edge. Lovely iridescent tone. Good VF/About EF.
